Job Description:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot MV systems, perform cable jointing/terminations, service transformers & RMUs, and ensure SEC safety compliance.
Responsibilities:

System Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems and infrastructure across civil and industrial sites.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Efficiently troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose system failures, and execute rapid repairs to minimize downtime.

Cable Jointing & Terminations: Expertly perform MV cable jointing, splicing, and high-voltage terminations in strict accordance with industry best practices.

Equipment Upkeep: Execute routine and preventative maintenance on critical electrical distribution equipment, including Transformers and Ring Main Units (RMUs).

System Testing: Conduct comprehensive electrical testing, insulation resistance testing, and pre-commissioning checks on all medium-voltage installations.

SEC Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and site safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a relevant certified vocational program.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience as an MV/HV Electrical Technician, preferably within the Saudi Arabian contracting sector.

Specialized experience or certification in medium-voltage cable jointing and termination (e.g., 13.8kV to 33kV systems).

Strong technical ability to read and accurately interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and single-line diagrams.

Direct, practical experience working with SEC guidelines, safety codes, and standard operating procedures.

High proficiency in using advanced electrical testing equipment and a strict commitment to utilizing high-voltage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
